Hi friends! Are you still as tired as me? I tried to wake up early yesterday and it just did not happen and I had a nap before lunch. lol Today, I am sharing pictures from our Fourth of July party, recipes for my favorite items, and an NSale preview!!
First up, I am sharing links for my party look! I purchased this necklace from Bauble Bar when it was on sale at Nords and I am sooo happy that I did. So, I ordered this necklace and it got returned because UPS did not accept my address. Therefore, I was literally freaking out because I NEEEDED this necklace. I emailed Nordstrom and they immediately found the package, contacted the store that it was being shipped too, and had it reshipped back to my house within like two days! I know I always say how amazing Nordstrom is.. but really, their customer service is unlike any other.
ps.. Jack and I got a dog! Her name is Casey and she is 4 years old! 🙂
I made these signs a couple of years ago! I glittered wooden letters and hot glued them on frames with burlap construction paper in the frame. Super easy and super cute!!
These sugar cookies are bomb. They are from Alyssa’s Cookie Jar and she does such an amazing job! She does all sorts of designs and she delivers! 🙂
For my banner, I purchased burlap flags, tassels, and a star sponge. The hardest part was punching the holes for the string, but after that, super simple! Here is another cute option too!
I picked these adorable napkins in the Target Dollar Spot!
Finally, I had a total fail and did not take pictures of my jell-o shots or fruit pizza! I use this recipe as the base for my fruit pizza, and then change it up a bit. I use sugar cookie mix in the bag, not frozen, and do not put on apple jelly. Also, I only used strawberries and blueberries, but any type of fruit works. Since I do not put any jelly on the pizza, I double the recipe for the cream cheese layer so there is a good amount on each slice. For jell-o shots, keep true to the jell-o recipe, but when you add cold water, only do half and use any type of alcohol for the other half. Yummy!!
Now on to the Nordstrom Anniversary..
Dates: July 21st – August 6th
Early Access: July 13th
Early access is for everyone who has a Nordstrom card. I personally have the Nordstrom debit card so my total is taken right out of my account, but they do have a credit card available too. I signed up last year before the NSale and it was the greatest decision ever. It is so fabulous being able to have that early access!
Whenever I read about the nordstrom Anniversary sale, the best advice I have heard is to make a fall wishlist. Go through your closet and see what you need to grab at the sale so it is not overwhelming when you are shopping. It is also a great time to do some Christmas shopping! 🙂 Also, make sure to shop quick!! They sometimes restock certain items, but sometimes they do not.
The items that will be on sale are all the new fall and winter arrivals! Yes, NEW items! Find the women’s catalog here, and the men’s here! Do not worry.. there will be many more items in the sale then just what is in the catalog! Also, they have sales on beauty and home items too!
On July 13th, I will be posting my purchases that day and will be updating that post as I go! 🙂
